Early Years Covid Home school Agreement

Pupil home school agreement (Covid-19)

In light of the recent pandemic and our government’s advice to reopening of schools to all pupils, safety of all members of our school community is high.

Please carefully read the statements below :

I will/need to:

  • Not come into school if I ( or any member of my family) are displaying any of the COVID19 symptoms (a high temperature, a continuous cough, and/or a loss of taste or smell).

  • Come in by 08.30am each day using my year groups gate in a sensible and calm manner, using the social distancing markings while queuing

  • Wear clean uniform every day

  • Come to school in my PE kit on the days my class will be doing PE

  • Bring in a clean water bottle and take it home to be washed at the end of every week

  • Bring in my own stationery and pencil case, including naming all items in the pencil case (Reception only- Nursery provided by school) This will need to remain in school

  • Understand that the school day will need to change for safety reasons

  • Understand that other members of the school teaching team may need to teach me if necessary

  • Understand that I need to stay at least 1 metre from my friends and teachers

  • Understand that I will need to stay in my class space until told otherwise by a member of staff

  • Try and use air high fives to say well done

  • Understand that I can bring in my lunchbox, change bag, book bag, coats and hats but will have to keep them on my peg all day.

  • Understand that new school rules will be put in place to ensure that I am safe

  • Understand that I will be sent home if I deliberately put other children at risk by breaking the school safety rules

Parents 

I ensure that I as a parent/carer will:

 

  • Not send my child/ren to school if they (or any member of my family) are displaying any of the COVID19 symptoms (a high temperature, a continuous cough, and/or a loss of taste or smell).

  • Inform the school and take my child/ren (or members of my family) for a test if they are displaying any of the COVID19 symptoms.

  • Come into school at 08.30am / 12.30am each day (depending on time of session)using my child/ren’s specified year group gate in a sensible and calm manner, using the social distancing markings while queuing for drop off and pick up.

  • Understand that if I arrive late, I will need to go around to the front of the school and ring the school office.

  • Collect my child/ren promptly at 3.00pm or 3.30pm (as applicable) each day using my child/ren’s specified year group gate in a sensible and calm manner, using the social distancing markings while queuing for drop off and pick up

  • Understand that only one parent/carer will be allowed to drop off and pick up

  • Show patience, understanding and respect to all members of staff during drop off and pick times

  • Provide my child/ren with clean uniform every day.

  • Send my child/ren to school in their PE kit on their PE days.

  • Provide my child/ren with a clean water bottle which will be taken home at the end of each week to be thoroughly washed

  • Provide my child with their own stationery and pencil case and name all items in the pencil case (Reception only-Nursery  the school will provide) This will remain at school

  • Understand that the school day will need to change for safety reasons in accordance with government guidance

  • Understand that other members of the school teaching team may need to teach my child/ren if necessary.

  • Understand that my child/ren will need to stay in their class bubble until told otherwise by a member of staff

  • Understand that we as a staff will promote the use of air high fives to say well done

  • Understand that my child/ren will be provided with their own named learning pack to use at school (Reception)

  • Understand that new school rules will be put in place to ensure that my child is safe

  • Understand that my child will be sent home if they deliberately put other children at risk by breaking the schools safety rules

  • Understand that my child/ren may be anxious on returning to school and that the staff will support orally  with this initial separation but cannot support physically
