Friday 22nd May
Friday 22nd May
Thank you to all of you for all of your enthusiasm and hard work this term, we have loved seeing the photos and videos of all of the activities that you have been doing . . . your parents and carers have worked so hard to keep you all going! Well done to all of you. (There is a note about the Half Term holiday at the bottom of the blog). All of the activities for the first week of Term 6 will be here for you in plenty of time for your Home Learning to start again on 1st June. In the meantime, don't forget that the Virtual Educational Visits page has lots of places that you can visit virtually, but also lots of activities that you can do both inside and outside. There is a folder of Past Blogs so that you can see the places and activities that I recommended, or you could have a look in the sections that interest you.
We have really enjoyed watching you singing your chosen songs this week! If you haven't watched them all, you can find them in the Eurovision! folder. They are definitely worth watching. Perhaps you could learn one of your friend's songs?
Here is the link for this week's Virtual Assembly from the Rev. Owen Green.
Remember that all of the assemblies that we have had so far can be found in the Assemblies section below.
A Message from Mrs Drew
I hope you are all keeping safe and well. I need your help!
I am working on creating a display for the small hall about ways in which you can keeping active. I have had some lovely photos from some children already showing what you are doing to keep active and about what you are looking forward to doing once we can get back to our swimming, gymnastic, dance clubs etc, thank you. I would like some artwork to go on the display too. Can you help me? Can you be creative and make a model, paint or draw a picture of a piece of sports equipment, you could make a picture of large football, a big tennis racquet or make a picture/collage of yourself doing your sport. Perhaps you would prefer to write about a few lines about how you keep active instead.
I will be in school the week beginning 1st June you can drop off any art work or writing in a box which will be left outside the front of school.. Don’t forget to pop your name on it somewhere too. I’m looking forward to seeing how creative you can be.
As it is half term next week, we would like to wish you all a happy and sunny Half Term!
We will not be responding to posts again until Monday 1st June.
You may still want to upload a general post over the holidays to show us what you have been doing or how your diaries are coming along.
The topic for our learning next term is 'Once Upon a Time' and will centre around fairy tales and traditional tales. We will delve deeper into 'Hansel and Gretel', 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff' and 'The Frog Prince'.
We will of course remain dedicated to ensuring you are kept up to date with the latest news and updates as changes happen with school.
We hope you have a good evening!
Miss Francis and Mrs McGregor
