Raffle tickets for Christmas Jars on sale - £1 each

Christmas Cinema Club - £6 per ticket

Children will have the opportunity to watch a Christmas film with a burger, drink and festive bake.

Festive Frenzy Fun Run - 10am start

Dress up in your favourite Christmas outfit and join us at our community fun run.

About

The Friends committee are a group of parents, teachers and members of the local community who volunteer to work together to organise events and activities to raise funds to benefit the school and its pupils. We welcome anyone who would like to offer their support the Friends committee by helping at events, helping us gain sponsors or by becoming an active member.

 

 

 

Fundraising

All funds raised by the Friends committee are used to benefit the children of East Wichel Community Primary School & Nursery.

 

How the money has been spent

 

    • End of term treats including bouncy castles, Jonathan’s Jungle and Sir Nitwit the children’s entertainer
    • Over £1000 worth of outside play equipment for KS1
    • Contributions towards school trips
    • Purchase of two tea urns
    • £256 contribution towards the Trim Trail
    • Gifts for each class at Christmas
    • Easter eggs for all the children
    • £210 worth of books for the school library
    • School leaver’s gifts
    • Refreshments at performances

 

Current Projects

 

We decide as a committee how to spend the money raised. We are always open to ideas, why not get in touch or attend a meeting?
