Monday 8th June

Good morning!

This week we are back to venturing slightly further afield for our visits. Today we are visiting Buckingham Palace, the Queen's official London residence and working Royal palace. We have a virtual visit to see the Throne Room, Grand Staircase and the White Drawing Room. We are also able to visit the State Rooms, the Royal Mews and the Queen's Gallery. Of these, my favourite is the Royal Mews, where you are able to see the Gold State Coach, as well as the Queen's other coaches and carriages. Each section that can be visit has a very good Children and Families section, where you can find activities to do at home; for example, the Design a Carriage Activity Sheet in the Royal Mews section.

All of the links are in the Castles section.

Happy exploring!
