Come to School Session - Monday 25th November 9am
As you know, this year we will trial a new system in which we will share insights into the work we do in school and how we can work together effectively to ensure that we have happy, successful children.
Parents will be invited in three times a year to a ‘Come to School’ morning.
Our first session will take place on Monday 25th November and the theme will be: English Secrets: How to Give Your Child an Educational Advantage Equivalent to Just Over a Year’s Schooling
We will begin at 9am in the school hall where Mrs Phillips will talk about the above theme and how it fits with some of the things we are working on as teachers settle their classes and take the registers. Our wonderful Friends of the School team will be selling teas/coffees and freshly baked pumpkin muffins (pumpkins grown in our school garden) made by our lovely Mrs Baker and the catering team and all monies made will go towards things that will make a difference to your child/ren at the school.
After this, you will be invited to visit your child/children’s class(es) to pop in to see a particular approach we are using in action. The whole session will last a maximum of an hour and if you are able to attend, your support will be most appreciated.
Please notify the office if you are able to attend so that we have some idea of numbers.
