Critical Key Worker and Remote Learning Survey

Dear Parents and Carers,

Following the Government announcement last night, East Wichel Primary School will be closed to all but Critical Key Worker children and those who we invite in as being considered vulnerable. We will be in touch with parents either today or tomorrow to invite those children who we consider to be vulnerable into school.

We are asking ALL parents to complete a survey regarding Critical Key Worker needs and remote learning needs. Information about who a Critical Key Worker is can be found here, this has changed since the previous lockdown.
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-maintaining-educational-provision/guidance-for-schools-colleges-and-local-authorities-on-maintaining-educational-provision.)

If you are a Critical Key Worker we ask that you only request a place should you have NO other alternative and ONLY for the days of the week that you are working in your critical role.  We will do our best to accommodate as many children as possible but spaces are not guaranteed and you may be asked to provide a letter from your employer.

We understand that depending on how long this lockdown continues, your situation may change, and we encourage you to keep in contact with us.

If you have more than one child attending East Wichel Primary School and Nursery and the answers you have given in the survey apply to all your children there is an opportunity to add their names at the end of the survey. Should you have different responses for different children please complete the survey again.

We would ask, where possible to avoid duplicate entries, only one parent complete the survey. Survey closes at 12pm Wednesday 6th January.
