Thursday 21st May

During the last few weeks, I've really enjoyed seeing how much reading you have been doing and how much you have been enjoying listening to and watching stories. If your parents are on Instagram, Howard Donald, the Take That singer, has been doing Bedtime Stories. At first, they were three times a week, then twice and now once a week. This means there are lots of fantastic stories for you to listen to; Howard is very good at choosing the best books! You can find Howard on Instagram as howarddonald.

Writing Ideas

Remember there is an exciting new writing activity in the Writing Ideas section  . . . we hope you are enjoying it and are looking forward to seeing some more fantastic writing tomorrow.

To help our learning around respecting and learning about different people and cultures we would like to invite you to learn a song in another language. There are links in the new People and Communities section to help you.

We would like you to send us, via the ILD, a short video of you singing the song you have chosen! We will then  post  your lovely videos on our blog each evening this week.

Remember if you would like to be a Superstar Worker of the Week, you need to post to the ILD every day so we can see the amazing things you are doing. Lots of you have made a good start already!

Share the Kindness

We know that lots of you are showing amazing kindness and community spirit at the moment. Please let us know what you have been doing and we will share it on our blog. For example, have you written a note to a neighbour who is on their own? Have you sent someone some rainbow post? Please let us know, it warms our hearts! Look below to see who has shown kindness today.

We hope you have a good evening!

Miss Francis (and Mrs McGregor)!
