Thursday 25th June

Good morning!

On 4th July, our lives will finally seem a little more normal as lots of businesses re-open. However, there are still some that have no idea when, or how, this will happen . . . both Circuses and Theatres seem to have been completely over-looked. Whilst theatres can technically re-open  . . . live performances are still not allowed. With this in mind, today's visits are in preparation for the re-opening theatres, whenever that may be. Theatres will need audiences if they are to survive, so I have included links to some local theatres so you can discover what they are planning in the Autumn and into next year. Of the programmes that I have looked at, I have already got some favourites . . . The beautiful Watermill Theatre in Newbury has a musical adaptation of The Jungle Book planned from mid-November until January, and The Egg (part of Bath's Theatre Royal), has a 'fabulous re-telling' of Swan Lake from the beginning of December until mid-January; it sounds very funny! Of course, the Wyvern Theatre has it's pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, planned too.

All links can be found in the Circus and Theatres section.

Happy exploring!
