Writing Idea of the Day

Tuesday 21.4.20

Join us me hearties in writing your very own pirate adventure story! You could even dress up as a pirate as you write it!

We cannot wait to read your stories. Why not use the paper template provided below?

We will post the best story on Friday for everyone to read!

Remember is needs to have:

- A beginning, exciting event in the middle and an ending

- Be focussing on handwriting well formed on the lines

- Include some longer polysyllabic words such as disgusting!

Happy writing me hearties!

Monday 20.4.20

You will be able to see from our blog today and the Term 5 knowledge organiser, that we are focussing our fine motor skills around correct formation of letters on a line.

Please use the knowledge organiser for letter formation and the guidance materials below:

Thursday 2nd April

We would still like you to continue with your friendship letters, but in addition some people have asked for extra letter formation practice.

Please see below link and happy writing!

Tuesday 31st March

We would like you to write a letter to a friend in your class. It might be to help them feel happy or to tell them what you have been doing?

We will then post all the letters we receive in the "Friendship" tab by the end of each working day.

We do ask that the letters are clear, have finger spaces and have sensible content.

Happy writing :)

Monday 30th March

Why not try and write a letter to a member of your family or a friend, telling them about what you have been learning about / or doing so far in your home learning? You could then post it to them?

We are focussing on writing being readable and having finger spaces between each word.

Happy writing :)
