Following from previous successful school holidays, Braeside Education Centre will be running ‘October Half Term Activity Days’ as part of our Holiday Club offering.

The dates are Tuesday 29^th October, Wednesday 30^th October, Thursday 31^st October and Friday 1^st November 2024.

We have kept our costs the same as previous years, at just £40.00 per child, per day, for 8.30am – 5pm.

Dear Parent/Carers

As a parent myself I know that we are always looking for things to keep the children interested and entertained during the school holidays. We at Swindon Music Service are hosting a Mega Trick or Treat Party at our home; The Platform, Faringdon Road SN1 5BJ.

There will be lots of different crafts to keep the children busy, a musical prize for the most imaginative costume, games, a Ghost Train (in our real train carriage), a disco and much, much, more… No going out in the cold and dark knocking on stranger’s doors, we will keep your children safe and entertained for 2.5hrs on Wednesday 30^th October from 2pm to 4:30pm.

Sign-up for a ticket only £5.00 (which will include a small treat to bring home as well as hours of fun and games). Or you can chance us still having space by buying a ticket at the door on the day at £6.00. Here is the link to register for a ticket:

STFC - GIRLS FOOTBALL

Every Thursday 5:30pm-6:30pm, we run a free football session at Foundation Park for Girls Only, aged between 10-16 years old. The session takes place inside our Nigel Eady Training Centre (Dome) and is a great way to stay active with some additional football. The session is focused on having fun and making new friends, in a welcoming environment with all abilities welcome. The session involves matches and is a great way to practice and learn new skills with the help from our female team of coaches.

At Swindon Town Community Foundation we aim to reach as many participants as we can through football and by doing so, we give them the opportunity to experience the beautiful game. We are really proud of our player pathway, allowing us to provide sessions that match the ability of most of our participants individual needs. This includes being able to progress players into competitive environments where possible.

Foundation Centres are the starting point for all players at Swindon Town Community Foundation and as such we would like to offer you the chance to join one of our Foundation Centre sessions to experience weekly coaching by Swindon Town coaches. By doing so you will be joining the first step of our player pathway and can begin your journey with us.
