What's on in and around our area.

Boom Club will run from 29th July to 2nd August, every day from 10 am to 2 pm, and is open to all primary school children. Our theme for this year is "Olympics," and we have planned a variety of engaging activities, including science experiments, sports, art projects, and baking sessions. Additionally, there will be inspiring messages from Bible stories that emphasize values like kindness and perseverance.

We believe Boom Club offers a wonderful opportunity for children to learn, play, and grow during the summer break, and we would be grateful if you could help us spread the word to the families in your school community.

Myself and my sisters are three local Swindon business owners and have come together to create a market, Swindon Eclectic Market, that supports other local new businesses. We had our first event in April 2024,  which was a great success! We are excited to be Organising our next event at Meca on Sunday 4th August.

Our markets are catered to everyone where you can enjoy a community focused event. Our Family friendly event has activities for all ages, such as pottery painting, design your own keepsake and henna, making it a great day for all to enjoy. The unique finds from gourmet food to hand crafted treasures, ensures you will find something special.

To top off all this loveliness, we are also holding a £50 giveaway to spend with a business of your choice on the day. Find the giveaway pinned at the top of our Facebook page with rules on how to enter! https://www.facebook.com/SwindonEclecticMarket?locale=en_GB

As the summer holidays come ever closer, we at Life Cycle are really happy to announce our Summer Holiday Training Programme, stacked with amazing cycling opportunities that we’re sure your school community would not want to miss!

We’re holding a range of engaging, fun, and exciting cycle courses all through August, and we were wondering, and we were wondering whether you know any students who might be interested in this? I’ve attached a flyer that has all the information and will take families to our online booking page! We’re delighted that Swindon Academy are once again hosting us again so that we can hold our Learn to Ride, for students starting their cycling journey, and Level 3 advanced cycle training, which is absolutely perfect for your Year 6 leavers!

Dear Parent/Guardian,

At Swindon Town Community Foundation we aim to reach as many participants as we can through football and by doing so, we give them the opportunity to experience the beautiful game. We are really proud of our player pathway, allowing us to provide sessions that match the ability of most of our participants individual needs. This includes being able to progress players into competitive environments where possible.

Foundation Centres are the starting point for all players at Swindon Town Community Foundation and as such we would like to offer you the chance to join one of our Foundation Centre sessions to experience weekly coaching by Swindon Town coaches. By doing so you will be joining the first step of our player pathway and can begin your journey with us.
