What's on in and around our area.

This Easter holidays we are running a 4 day theatre workshop in Old Town inspired by "THE GREATEST SHOWMAN." The children will be able to come each day, learn the songs and script from the film musical and on the final day perform this to their families. This is a fantastic opportunity for the children and I know all too well as an ex-primary school teacher that curriculum pressures on core subjects mean time for the performing arts is limited! And of course working parents love their children to be participating in valuable and educational childcare activities during the holidays.

In collaboration with the Maternity & Neonatal Partnership (MNVP) the Early Year Team are conducting a survey to see where pregnant people and parents of young children are getting their information from, this will help to ensure we are pushing out information in the right places.

The session takes place inside our Nigel Eady Training Centre (Dome) and is a great way to stay active with some additional football. The session is focused on having fun and making new friends, in a welcoming environment with all abilities welcome. The session involves matches and is a great way to practice and learn new skills with the help from our female team of coaches.

Dear Parent/Guardian,

At Swindon Town Community Foundation we aim to reach as many participants as we can through football and by doing so, we give them the opportunity to experience the beautiful game. We are really proud of our player pathway, allowing us to provide sessions that match the ability of most of our participants individual needs. This includes being able to progress players into competitive environments where possible.

Foundation Centres are the starting point for all players at Swindon Town Community Foundation and as such we would like to offer you the chance to join one of our Foundation Centre sessions to experience weekly coaching by Swindon Town coaches. By doing so you will be joining the first step of our player pathway and can begin your journey with us.

To enrol onto a Foundation Centre, please follow the link below which will direct you to our registration’s portal, then complete the registration for a session of your child’s age:
