Clerk to Governors 

Start July 2021

We wish to appoint a Clerk to Governors for our primary school.

Permanent contract: 5 hours per week (the hours are not necessarily 5 hours per week, it can fluctuate depending on when the meetings are)

Weeks per annum: 43 weeks term time and holiday

Salary: L1-8 £10.47-£12.04 per hr (dependent upon experience)

We wish to appoint an experienced administrator to fulfil the post of Clerk to East Wichel Community Primary School and Nursery Governing Board.  This will involve taking the minutes at full Governing Board meetings and committee meetings all of which are held in the evening as well as other administrative tasks in order to ensure the smooth running of the governing board.

You will be required to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills as well as good organisational skills. Training on all aspects of the role will be given to you via the Governance Support team at Swindon Borough Council and you will be expected to attend the various training sessions offered to Swindon Clerks.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We wish to appoint a HLTA for our primary school. This could be for PE but not exclusively.

 

HLTA Contract: 28 hours per week

Play leader Contract: 2.5 hours per week

Weeks per annum: 39 weeks term time only

Salary: NJC Scale M1-6 £12.26-£14.23 (dependent on experience)

 

Closing date: Friday 2nd July 2021 12 noon

MDSA

Starting 1st Sep 2021

 

MDSAs – We are seeking to appoint MDSAs

MDSA Salary: J1-2 £9.25-£9.45 per hr (dependent upon experience)

Part time, 7.5 hours per week (11:45 to 13:15pm daily during term time only)

Interviews: Friday 16th July 2021 from 10am

 

We are seeking to appoint Midday Supervisors to assist with the supervision of children during the lunch break.  You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, general welfare and behaviour of children during this period with the aim of providing an enjoyable lunch time experience.  The successful candidates will have high expectations of behaviour and the skills to forge strong relationships with all members of our school.
