Christmas Jars, December 2019 - We ran our Christmas Jars fundraiser for the second year in a row and it was another huge hit with the children! Thank you to all the parents and teachers who took part making a jar for the children to win, we obviously have some very crafty people out there and so many little ones went home with their prizes and a big grin on their faces! This year this particular event raised the children of the school £401.

Christmas Cinema Nights, Dec 19 - Parents enjoyed a wonderful few hours of child-free time to wrap presents or relax over a cuppa and your children were fed yummy burgers, while they played festive games and watched a festive movie. Thank you so much for your participation in this event and helping us to raise £618.

 Festive Frenzy Fun Run, December 2019 - Wichelstowe got it's festive on at East Wichel School's Festive Frenzy Fun Run. It was amazing to see all the runners out in their different Christmas jumpers and outfits. The Friends committee sold hot drinks before and after the event.

School’s out for Summer Disco, July 19 - What better way to celebrate the end of the school year than an end of year disco and our children really went to town. We saw so many beautiful dresses, stylish outfits and some seriously amazing dance moves! Everyone had a wonderful time and helped us raise money

Big Bounce, June 2019 - Wichelstowe got it's bounce on with East Wichel School's Summer Event - The Big Bounce. A first for our Committee and a huge event that made us a whopping amount. Here are some of your pictures from the day.

School Selfie Tea Towels, June 19 - Some of the self portraits we saw go onto each class group tea towels were incredible! The children really enjoyed drawing a picture of themselves and some of them even got to draw their teachers! Thank you for supporting this new fundraiser and helping us.

Father's Day, June 2019 - Your little ones to got creative for Daddy! Artwork packs were sent out for the children to make something really special for Dads/Carers/Grandads. All of the artwork was incredible and we had some many happy men on Father's Day.

Mother's Day, March 2019 - The Committee members all worked so hard to make Mother's Day special for your children and for Mums, Grandmas and Carers. We let our creative juices flow and made a variety of vases and plant pots for fresh flowers and bulbs, as well as sourcing some fabulous scarves, beauty bits, friendship bracelets and other special things! But what made the day really special was how excited the children were about independently choosing what to spend their money on. So many of them took a lot of care to choose thoughtfully and spend wisely and they all walked away with huge grins on their faces. This event raised £456.63 for fun, educational learning resources for the school children.  

Valentine's Disco, February 2019 - Love was in the air for the children of East Wichel School at their Valentine's Disco. A total of £545 was raised and an amazing night was had by all!
